If you are self-managing, independent and comfortable earning a commission income, Sherwood Mortgage Group may be for you. To be successful in this position, you should ideally possess:
Mortgage agent certification
Must be able to prospect and develop own sources of mortgage referrals from a variety of sources such as Realtors, Builders, Financial Services Companies, etc. Demonstrated time management and planning skills with an ability to organize the day with activities that contribute to the overall goal of mortgage production. Proven track record in sales, with a sound understanding of the local market.

- Previous mortgage or Banking Lending experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Financial comprehension
- Strong customer service skills
- Answering mortgage related questions
- Creating the right finance solutions and providing approvals for your clients.
- Following up on transactions.
- Hiring support staff as needed.
- Sourcing new business and referral sources.
- This role operates within a home office environment.
- This role requires local travel.
